Pardon me while I geek out a bit...

itcLogoJust found (probably like the last person to do so) a great site - IT Conversations. According to the site, " It's a one-person labor of love." The one person being Doug Kaye, as in the author of Loosely Coupled—The Missing Pieces of Web Services.

The reason why this site's content is so cool is due in part to its participants, Will Wright, Joi Ito, Ben and Mena Trott, Lawrence Lessig and more. The thng that really pushes it over the top for me though is the file format - MP3 and AAC (iTunes). I don't know about you, but I have to drive a bit to get to work and the ability to listen to this quality of content turns a drudge into a realxing ride.

Kudos to Mr. Kaye!!

  • "The hallmark of revolution is that the goals of the revolutionaries cannot be contained by the institutional structure of the society they live in. As a result, either the revolutionaries are put down, or some of those institutions are transmogrified, replaced, or simply destroyed. We are plainly witnessing a restructuring of the music and newspaper businesses, but their suffering isn’t unique, it’s prophetic." --Clay Shirky
