More Bit Torrent

First, please feel free to put this on your holiday shopping list for me...

Second, I am such a newb sometimes - I think its mental bandwidth issues but I see some of these technologies emerge and then lose sight of them and by the time my limited gaze (and here I'm using gaze in the anth sense and not in the LOTR sense) comes back around, they've exploded. So right now I am coming back to Bit Torrent and marveling at how well it works and the wealth of sites which now exist that serve as locators for BT files. Let's just say if you missed the last episode of Smallville, you can get it via a BT file.

Some of the sites I'm digging through:
The OFFICIAL BitTorrent Page
Smiler's BT Links
BitTorrentSites
etree.org
Supernova.ORG

Quoth he...

  • "The hallmark of revolution is that the goals of the revolutionaries cannot be contained by the institutional structure of the society they live in. As a result, either the revolutionaries are put down, or some of those institutions are transmogrified, replaced, or simply destroyed. We are plainly witnessing a restructuring of the music and newspaper businesses, but their suffering isn’t unique, it’s prophetic." --Clay Shirky
