I found a really good use for this - Meeting Notes

Check out my post here - http://www.idano.net/wordpress-on-a-stick-for-meeting-notes-47.htm

Lee, You could do this with your iPod - it really is just a hard drive with some music-handling software. I'm unsure of the command off the cuff here but you can set your computer to just regard your ipod as an external drive. I'm just amazed that we can do all this on a unit with no moving parts that can cost under $50!

This is great. I wish that my Treo or my iPod would function in this way, so I don't have to carry the stick. I still have three things in my pocket, when I should only have one.

  • "The hallmark of revolution is that the goals of the revolutionaries cannot be contained by the institutional structure of the society they live in. As a result, either the revolutionaries are put down, or some of those institutions are transmogrified, replaced, or simply destroyed. We are plainly witnessing a restructuring of the music and newspaper businesses, but their suffering isn’t unique, it’s prophetic." --Clay Shirky
