MindMapping Blog and Online Mindmapping App
I am a visual learner. I also tend to organize data visually so I love using mindmaps. I have used MindManager for several years now and am impressed with it and with Mindjet's commitment to keep improving it. That being said, I am also on the lookout for new mindmapping tools so I was doubly happy when I found The Mind Mapping Software Weblog.
While I had know about some free tools like the aptly named Freemind and Cmap (I know, its a concept map not a mind map but live with it); I had not heard about Mindomo. To be clear, while there is a free version of Mindomo (you are limited to 7 private maps and unlimited number of public maps), there are also pay versions that increase security and numbers of maps, etc. I will say this - Mindomo works beautifully for a browser-based app...really smooth, polished interface, etc.
So great job Chuck Frey...and be sure to check out this blog, as far as I can tell there is a ton of stuff here on all the varieties of mindmapping stuff.

Have you noticed that recently Chuck Frey wrote about the nearest release of ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5? If you'd like to have a look at it, just drop me a line http://conceptdraw.com/en/products/mindmap/main.php.

If you like mindmapping and I see you tag game studies I wonder if 3D mindmapping that you can fly through and zoom around would appeal?
If so, you can see examples at the 3D Topicscape site.
