Welcome to the new e-learning research blog home!

The research blog which contains a great deal of the info (and which will contain more soon) from which I wrote my research paper for Techlearn, now has a new home. I want to thank Elliott Masie again for funding research in e-learning and in hosting the original home of the research blog. Moving it to Typepad is essentially a matter of convenience for me. So thanks much Elliott and I hope to see you all over on the new blog!

Welcome to e-Clippings' New Home!

Well - this has been a long time coming but e-Clippings finally has a cool home on the Web! This site is hosted by Typepad - a commercial service offered by the same people who created the wonderful and free blogging software, Moveable Type.

I do need to explain a couple of things:

1st: The newsletter will continue to be published on a weekly basis although updates to the blog will occur more frequently. I just feel - and you can correct me if I'm wrong - that most of the readers of e-Clippings are awfully busy folks and can probably stand a once-a-week email but probably not more frequently than that. The newsletter will also continue to run out of the Yahoo! Groups site. I just haven't found a way to do this like I'd want to (for the right price) any other way just yet. However, if you'd like, you can use an RSS aggregator to grab the RSS from this blog.

2nd: For those of you new to blogs, one of the most powerful features is the ability to post comments to the various stories or items that I'll publish. This is a great way to start/continue discussions related directly to items which catch your interest. Please don't be shy about putting comments up on the blog, its one of the reasons that I choose this format.

3rd: I remain committed to focusing on a broad nexus of learning and technology with a healthy dose of your recommendations. With a better site I can provide a great deal more information than before and am open to your suggestions of areas that you'd like me to focus on.

Alright, well I've have tried to go ahead and hang some cool stuff up here for starters, please take a look around and let me kow what you think!
